Dear Chairs, dear Program Committee members,
This is a reminder of the quickly approaching paper submission deadline for DTIP 2013: 12-Oct-12 The subject of this message is two-fold:
First, I would very much appreciate if you could disseminate the call for papers to colleagues who might be in a position to submit an abstract. Of course, I also strongly encourage submitting your own work. Many of you have already informed us about your efforts to give the Symposium the maximum publicity within your organization and among friends and colleagues; we appreciate your strong support to attract high quality paper submissions in the emerging topics covered by DTIP.
Please find attached a copy of the call for papers (Web site:http://cmp.imag.fr/conferences/dtip/dtip2013).
Secondly, I would like to invite you considering the organization of a session, or of a panel. You might organize a session on a hot topic, by inviting a few authors to submit a paper on that topic. These submissions would fit together to form a very consistent session. It should be clear that these submissions would undergo the reviewing process, but we would have a special look. A Special Session on Reliability Criteria in MEMS/NEMS Design, Manufacturing and Test, organized by Romolo MARCELLI from CNR-IMM Roma, Italy, is already announced.
You might also consider organizing a panel discussion. The format could be either a few short position statements by the panellists and a discussion time, or a rather longer presentation to introduce a discussion. Finally another option we still did not introduce at DTIP is to invite session speakers. These would be flagged --nvited--in the programme (but they would not be plenary talks). We might have a few such --nvited--talks. Should you decide to go for the organization of a session or of a panel, or should you like to offer suggestions for --nvited--talks, please let me know.
Looking forward to working with all of you towards a successful DTIP 2013 Technical Program.
Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
