This message is a reminder for the important deadline of the International Workshop on Nanomechanical Cantilever Sensors (NMC2009). Please check the website for updated information.
The International Workshop on Nanomechanical Sensors focuses on new development, investigations and applications of cantilever-based sensors, cantilever methodology and cantilever systems engineering. It aims at bringing together companies and academia to present their latest results in a lively and personal atmosphere. This workshop is a follow up of workshop held in Madrid (2004), Knoxville (2005), Copenhagen (2006), Montreal (2007) and Mainz (2008).
‧ Detection of chemicals and gases
‧ Applications in biotechnology
‧ Theoretical understanding of the Nanomechanical response
‧ Fabrication of cantilevers and cantilever arrays for nanomechanical sensors
‧ Integration of nanomechanical sensors (micro fluidics, actuators, sensors system, μ-TAS, CMOS)
‧ Functionalization concepts and technology
‧ MEMS / NEMS technology for sensors
‧ Alternative mechanical sensor designs - bridges, disks and more
You are invited to submit abstracts for poster and oral contributions.
