The MNE 2009 conference in Ghent will be the 35th in a series that started in Cambridge in 1975, and was most recently held in Vienna (2005), Barcelona (2006), Copenhagen (2007) and Athens (2008).
Micro- and Nano- Engineering (MNE) is an international conference on micro- and nano- fabrication and manufacturing using lithography and other nano-patterning related approaches. The conference brings together engineers and scientists from all over the world to discuss recent progress and future trends in the fabrication, manufacturing and application of micro- and nano- structures and devices. Applications in Electronics, Electromechanics, Environment and Life Sciences are discussed such as nanoelectronics, MEMS-NEMS, bioMEMS and lab-on-a-chip devices.
Abstract submission ? deadline 5 June
The programme will feature plenary and invited presentations by a number of internationally recognised authors, contributed oral and poster presentations, and a commercial exhibition. The oral presentations and posters will be selected by the International Programme Committee which also assisted in selecting the plenary and invited talks. Note that MNE poster papers have equal weight to oral presentations.
Abstracts must be submitted on-line via the conference website www.mne09.org by 5 June 2009. Authors will be notified about the acceptance of their abstract by 27 July 2009.

On-line registration is now open at the conference website. Alternatively, you can download the registration form in Word or PDF format and fax it to the MNE 2009 Conference secretariat. Hotel accommodation can also be booked via the forms available from the website.
